"CMD the scourge of humanity"
As a start-up company, we have set out to eliminate this problem!!

The following video makes the symptoms clear!!

WHAT IS CMD?

The abbreviation CMD stands for craniomandibular dysfunction and, put bluntly, means that “something is wrong with the jaw joint.” But what is CMD?

In the beginning there was pain!

Nobody wakes up in the morning and knows that he/she has CMD and the interest or need for the information is not always based on temporomandibular joint pain or the accompanying pain caused by it. Possible symptoms of CMD are:

• Pain in the chewing muscles/jaw
  • Problems opening the mouth
  • Bruxism (teeth clenching)
  • Teeth grinding
  • Clicking, friction and pain in the jaw joint
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Tension in the neck and back
  • Ear pain
  • Tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and/or dizziness
  • Facial pain
  • Sleep disorders
  • Snoring

  and many more...

Based on the possible symptoms, you can see that the disease CMD is very complex and requires a high level of interdisciplinary knowledge from the treating dentist, family doctor or specialist. Dentists are often not the first port of call, as the causes of the pain are understandably not believed to be in the mouth/jaw joint, but rather in the painful part of the body.
